Our Missions
Our Lord asks us to serve others. We are His hands. We
respond.

Brown Bag Cafe
We greet hungry people at our door and give out sack lunches to anyone who shows up.
The lunches include a sandwich, pudding, applesauce, peanut butter crackers, cookies and a spoon. We also give out dog food, protein drinks, socks, gloves, and blankets when we have them.
We feed 400-600 people a week.
5 other churches make sandwiches for this mission.

Hawthorne Potluck
We support a valuable mission where community members come together to feed homeless people warm food in Hawthorne Park Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11-12. Helpers make a variety of meals using donated food. Anyone can bring food to share in this potluck picnic!
They serve 300-400 people a week.
Call Nicole Herzman at 808-344-3738 to help.

Kiva Loans
Our church works with people from Central America through Kiva to offer financial access to help get their businesses off the ground. We help farmers, bakers, tailors and more. They pay the loans back and then we move on to help someone else.

The Congregation
Donates Food Monthly
People bring fresh fruits and vegetables on the first Sunday of the month, as well as the specified "Food of the Month", on the other Sundays to share in the Food Pantry.

Bag Builders
On Sundays after church, we gather for about 15 minutes to put the shelf stable food in sacks so we can give them out Monday- Thursday from 9 am- 12pm at the Brown Bag Cafe.
It's fun to work together for good!

Food Pantry
We join with ACCESS to give out food to people who need it. These people would not have enough food for their families without this extra help from the West Medford Food Pantry on 750 N. Columbus in Medford from 1-3.
Contact Elizbeth Mahan at 541-779-1711 if you want to help.

NA Groups
Our church provides meeting space for several NA groups.

Foot Washing
Student nurses in an OHSU program do foot washing and general foot care weekly for our street neighbors.
Childhood Reading Time
Volunteers read to the young children in our Sarah Corson Child Care and Learning Center.

We actively support the four special offerings of
