Pastor Search Status

The PNC is diligently continuing its search for candidates to fill our Head Pastor position. To date, the committee has reviewed 72 profiles provided through the CLC, including 4 applications sent directly by self-referred candidates. Of these 72 profiles, 25 invitations were extended for candidates to formally apply. Only four individuals accepted, and all later withdrew from consideration. Additionally, the committee engaged in one preliminary conversation with a candidate who, regrettably, also withdrew prior to entering the interview process.

 

It appears that the total number of candidates from CLC is quite limited. Only a small number of matches are available for review at this time. The committee plans to collaborate with our consultant, Rev. Robin Garvin, to explore strategies for broadening the posting of our position.

 

It is important to remember that only one suitable candidate is needed to fill our leadership position. We should remain diligent in our efforts and pray that the right individual will be made available to us at the proper time – God’s time.
